I bought the XL one for use in my MG3220. Reviewed in the United States on October 17, 2019 And its not every time, occasionally the black cartridge will perform half way decent, but lately they seem to be weak. The black ink definitely does not produce as much as it should, as if they are only half filled or something. The color ink cartridge seems to last longer than expected, so no complaints there. I find that the black ink does not last nearly as long for as many prints as advertised, and I do not really print that much material. This is how they sell the printers cheap and kill you with replacing ink cartridges. Just read reviews on another site (sorry, I forgot to copy link) that states most manufacturers are really cutting the amount of ink in the cartridges significantly!! some by 2/3rds. Third cartridge is now in and I'm not expecting much better. Reordered because I like to use original manufacture ink. Second one went just a fast so again I though I had received a bad production batch. I don't do heavy copying as I just do about 100-150 sheets per month. When the first ran out after 2 1/2 week I thought it was just a bad cartridge and replaced it with second cartridge. When my supply ran out 2 months ago I order two of these thinking they would last about 4 months based on past usage. I had cartridges last year that would last months ( I put the date on all my cartridges for comparison). I wish cartridge makers were required to indicate the amount of ink in the cartridges.
